A small idea

Now that the LCD photoframes are readily available in the market, it shouldn't be long before LCD calendars with touch screens come in. A light and easy application to maintain your schedues, expenses, alarms etc @home. I would like one that can do expense tracking on a day to day basis and compare with budgeted incomes and expnse. Should have options to easily write, save and read notes based on dates. It would be wonderful if it can also track TV program schedules and alert. Whatd'ya think....

Intra-day data Charting

I am planning to add a real time viewer like this for my intra-day data. It will update the current price from time to time and also create the chart. The chart can be prepared in two ways. Either save all data in a DB and refer the data and create the charts everytime or directly write the data as pixels onto a jpeg file and show the jpegs instead. With the former, we have the option of analysing data and showing it differently at any time. But the time to create the charts may be too high. I will instead try to create the jpegs and save the data in the DBs for future use.
